Missing Transactions

If transactions visible in your banking app aren't appearing in your Lunch Flow destination, follow these steps.

How data flows

  1. Bank → Provider: GoCardless, MX, Pluggy, Finverse, Akahu, or Snaptrade fetches data from your bank
  2. Provider → Lunch Flow: Lunch Flow retrieves the data from the provider
  3. Lunch Flow → Destination: Lunch Flow pushes data to your destination (e.g. Lunch Money, Google Sheets)

Step 1: Check what Lunch Flow has received

  1. Go to the Connections page
  2. Select the affected account
  3. Click the Transactions tab

Things to verify:

  • Connection status: Confirm it shows as Active. If not, reconnect.
  • Pending transactions: Lunch Flow only syncs confirmed transactions, not pending ones. Check if the missing transactions are still pending in your banking app.
  • Transaction history window: By default, Lunch Flow fetches 90 days of history.

Step 2: Transactions are in Lunch Flow but missing from your destination

If the transactions appear in Lunch Flow but not your destination, possible causes include:

  • The destination is configured for balance-only syncing (not transactions) - check your destination settings
  • A sync error occurred

If you can't identify the cause, contact support via chat or hello@lunchflow.app with the account name, destination name, and which transactions are missing.
