Sure
Sure is a community-maintained, open-source personal finance application - a fork of the discontinued Maybe Finance project. You can self-host it to privately manage your finances.
Prerequisites
- A self-hosted Sure instance (or one from a hosting provider)
- At least one bank account connected in Lunch Flow
Setup
Create the destination
In Lunch Flow, go to Destinations → Add Destination → Sure. After creating it, copy the generated API key.
Configure Sure
Log into your Sure instance, go to Settings → Providers, find Lunch Flow, and enter your API key.
Link accounts
In Sure's Accounts tab, set up new accounts and link them to your Lunch Flow accounts.
Details
- Outbound only: Your Sure instance only needs outbound internet access - it does not need to be publicly accessible
- Sync schedule: Syncing follows Sure's configured schedule; manual syncs are also available
- Legacy migration: If you have an older setup, you can migrate to the new API-based approach for improved reliability
Security
The connection uses read-only access with encrypted data transmission. Lunch Flow cannot access your banking credentials or perform financial transactions.
