Connecting a US or Canadian bank
Navigate to the Connections page
Click + New Connection and select US & Canada banks
Search for your financial institution
Log in securely through your bank's website
Grant read-only authorisation
Choose which accounts to synchronise
Reliability
Due to the lack of a standardised open banking API in the US and Canada, connections are not guaranteed to be permanently stable. You may occasionally need to reconnect. Lunch Flow mitigates this by:
- Sending email notifications when MX identifies a renewal is needed
- Providing a simplified reconnection flow from the Connections dashboard
Security
All connections are read-only and encrypted. Lunch Flow never sees your login credentials and cannot move money.
