Connecting an Asia Pacific bank
Navigate to the Connections page
Click + New Connection and select Asia Pacific banks
Search for your financial institution
Authenticate through your bank's secure website
Authorise read-only access
Select the accounts to synchronise
Limitations
No automatic refresh for 2FA banks: Due to the lack of standardised banking APIs across the region, institutions that require two-factor authentication cannot support automatic transaction refreshes. Manual updates are available via reconnection.
Unsupported institutions:
- Citibank Hong Kong (discontinued since 2022)
- Citibank Singapore (ended November 2025 following QR code 2FA implementation)
- Maybank Malaysia (not currently supported)
You can upvote feature requests to express interest in restoring any discontinued connection.
Security
All connections are read-only and encrypted. Lunch Flow never sees your login credentials and cannot move money.
